Female lead characters of these kinds of books are usually unbearable in the amount of ego and strong independent steaks the authors give them. However, this one gave in relatively quick to the idea that she needed her mates more than her independence which I wholeheartedly loved! Now on to the next book to see where this goes
Oh. My. STARS!!!! This book? Was AMAZING. I gobbled this book up, like my favorite holiday cookies.I got an advance reader copy, so, I had it early, but I couldn't wait. This is the epic culmination of the series and Ava Ward doesn't disappoint. The tension, the danger, the HEAT....and the lovely "Wow! I did NOT see *that* coming.This book? :::chef's kiss:::: jewel in the crown. Truly spectacular.
I admit it took some time building this world, and it's different. But now i can't wait to read book 2.
Wow. This is my first Ava boll and I want to read them all. She is masterful with words and storylines.
Book 5 had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The stakes are higher and the group is getting down to the wire on accomplishing their goal. In Ava Ward last book 'Scorch My Lips' Bjorn magically opens a portal in the last minute for a life saving hasty exit but to where he opened it no one knows. Wet, cold and trying to stay warm, the group seeks shelter in an old cavern/forest reminiscent of an abandon elfin LORT castle in decay. Ava's new book 'Ruin My Kiss' takes place in this magical environment and I love this new setting. The drama and harrowing experiences are through the roof for the drakes and Rikyava, and the surprises at the end are intense. Book 5 is a show stopper with megawatt steam and we're not done yet.

Ava ward is a Master yet again with her world building. I love the world, expanding through different characters and magic.
Absolutely incredible! I devoured Scorch My Lips in just one day! Ava Ward has done it again with another fantastic book. I've been a huge fan of hers since the Royal Dragon Bind series, where I first met Rikyava, and this latest installment continues the thrilling battle between good and evil. In Scorch My Lips, we're introduced to Rikyava’s fourth mate, and several long-standing questions from earlier books finally get answered. I can't wait to see where Ava Ward takes us next — the anticipation is killing me!
This series just gets better and better! The characters and plot are written so good that it keeps you sucked in and totally invested. The cliffhangers always kill me but not if I can read the next book straight after lol. Thankfully! Amazing heroine and heroes I love them all!
This book was amazing I love dragons, RH, & a kick*ss FMC! This book had all my favorite tropes and deff lived up to the hype! She has such a unique name loved it! & the guys were so protective and amazing I loved all of it.

I love this series. The characters are well versed. This book shows she has 4 drakes, but only 2 drakes have a story. Will you be doing a story with the other two drakes? Mikkel and the artist before the final battle?I'd really like that.
Love the dragon and magic premise if this trilogy. Reverse harem and blood mates that don't really get along are among some of the challenges in this first book. But it's so great!
OMG!!!!! I just finished the book. It was awesome. I was still flying with dragons, so hard to come back to earth. I loved the ending. I can't wait for them to meet with Rhennic. Ava Ward is amazing, her talent for writing is masterful. I received an ARC and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Such a good book. I love the storyline. I love the characters and setting. There was never a boring moment.i am so glad there is another book to read and see our dragons learn to harness the power of blood walking and bone magic.

I was so excited to learn Ava Ward was doing another series in the dragon shifter world. Rikyava is one of my favorite characters in the twilight realm so I knew this was going to be a fantastic read!!! Ms.Ward did a wonderful job building more of the world and adding in new characters that I cannot wait to learn more about. I lost track of time and ended up finishing this book in less than a day. I cannot wait for the next book in this series and see what happens next with Rikyava and her mates!
This is the best Fantasy Romance I have read all year!! Ava Wards new series (Dragons of Blood and Bone): Burn My Heart, is a show stopper. I was so enthralled with the characters, setting and story line I couldn't put the book down. Ava's writing is detailed but not so much it bogs down the story and her world building so imaginative, and exciting. Her characters are human like, flawed, funny, charming and dangerous. What's not to like? If you haven't read her "Dragon Shifters of Morocco" series, it's a good place to start but not necessary to enjoy her new series Dragons of Blood and Bone.
I loved this book!! I'm a huge fan and have yet to read a book of Ava's that has engrossed me and this oneis another. Per usual, her descriptive way of writing lets you see the story while your reading. One thing that really appealed is this book ties in with her Fae story. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait til the next one comes out.

To be sure the dragon shifters and magic are similar in both series, but BURN MY HEART gives readers a much closer look at Rikyava Andersen, the Commander of the Guard protecting the Red Letter Hotel, Paris. Rikyava’s difficult past, alluded to in the pages of author Ward’s Red Letter Hotel series, finally comes to light in BURN MY HEART and provides the most elaborate yet suspense-filled plotlines I've found in the paranormal romance trope. However, have no fear if you haven’t read the Red Letter Hotel series yet or recently. Author Ava Ward gives enough background through first-person conversation and recollection to give all readers confidence that they understand the stakes.
